I found a lot of good books and book-adjacent resources in 2019!

This week’s topic is Top Ten Books That Will Make You Swoon.

I love a good romance - one that makes my stay up late reading and then haunts me long after I've reached "The End." Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Wuthering Heights are all a given. Here are a few of my other favories:

There are a lot of really scary worlds in fiction. Truly terrifying places that make me glad I don't live there, including:

This week’s topic is Top Ten Things On My Reading Wishlist (things I wish more authors wrote about).

I do not have any trouble finding books. There are a lot of books in the world. A lot of really good books. So, this topic was a little hard for me this week, or, at least, I thought it was until I sat down and started writing. Then I realized I seem to have a reservoir of unfulfilled longing within me that I was unaware of :-) Despite that, though, I was only able to come up with eight items for my list this week.

Guys, guess what? I personally know the authors of all of the books on my list this week! That's why I'm so excited for these debuts-- these are wonderful writer friends that I met as we struggled through slush-pile hell on our way to getting published, and I'm so thrilled that they will all get their day in the sun this year!!

This week’s topic is Top Ten Goals/Resolutions for 2014.

Let me start by saying that I don’t make resolutions…the universe and my brain instantly sabotage me as soon as I do. I resolve to lose weight and suddenly all I crave is junk food and/or life gets insanely busy and I can’t get to the grocery store to buy healthy food. I resolve to exercise more and I suddenly need knee or foot surgery. That sort of thing.

So, having said that, here are my goals for 2014, which I WILL accomplish if the universe stays out of my way :-)
